The following Part 1 chapters from Sky are PDFs created from the original electronic manuscript without background images. These are posted as an introduction to the book for your non-commercial use and distribution in their original form as long as you give attribution to the author, John Palmerlee. See the Creative Commons link at the bottom of this page for licensing details.
The original design of Sky included background images, colored thread located to highlight concepts in the story, and foldout stereograms at the beginning of each part. Sky was initially handmade by by the author in traditional stitch-bound hardback format. There exist fifteen of these copies as of June, 2024. All but two of the copies have been distributed to early readers. These limited edition copies have within them tactile and graphical features intended to enhance the reading adventure. If you want more information about these features, the following document is provided as a guide. However, if you like to figure things out for yourself, you may want to wait until after you read the complete book. |
